De Atramentis inks are handmade by Dr. Franz-Josef Janssen in Germany. He started making inks in 1991 and has since created over 200 different inks. We carry several types of the De Atramentis inks. Here is a brief description of the inks we carry.
The historical figure inks are a standard / regular ink and are not waterproof. We carry 15 colors of these inks. Janssen created several new colors to create this line of ink to celebrate some of the most influential people in history. The labels on these bottles of ink coincide with the inks name and adds to the experience. These inks flow well through the fountain pen and perform great on quality paper.
De Atramentis Inks will be shipped via the USPS First Class or you can upgrade shipping to priority mail for an additional charge. If the weight of the package exceeds first class limits, the inks will be shipped priority.

Inks are eligible for return if they have not been opened. If an ink has been opened / used, we will not be able to refund your purchase price. If the ink has not been opened / used, and you would like to return it, please notify us within 21 days of the delivery date and ship the package back to us within 30 days of the delivery date. If a package is returned to us due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund the purchase price of the item (minus shipping), and the item will go back into inventory if you would like to purchase it again.
